As a Social Worker specialised in the field of Substance Abuse Disorders I am frequently asked to conduct forensic investigations into complex allegations of Substance Abuse Disorders on the part of individuals and families undergoing relationship breakdown issues and the resultant and unfortunate custodial issues that form part of the legal dissolution of such relationships.

Due to the maladaptive defence structures of people who suffer from Substance Abuse Disorders it is extremely difficult to establish the truth and accurate parameters as to their disorder and as the welfare of minor children is frequently at stake the use of Forensic level testing is essential for accurate and carefully considered recommendations to be made.
